Pierluigi Rolando Tennis Collection is designed to capture the essence of the breakthrough vision and style of the brand's original Creative Director, Pierluigi Rolando, the mind responsible for bringing imagination into FILA's sport style.
Built upon the idea of the original tagline of the brand, “creativity in sport," this campaign takes tennis outside the court by way of art, music, and cultural touchpoints. This homage to PLR feels as fresh, hip, and relevant now as the designer's original work did in 1971.
The graphic shapes in the collection come to life in a Saul Bass inspired motion. Lauren Rowling's illustrations tap Ash Brarty and Diego Schwartzman as the muses.
